Events and Comps - What you should be ready for...

Well its like every time you climb, not much changes other than you climb in front of a lot of people cheering you on. The big thing is to have all your gear as on events it can be tough to find replacements in the short term, so make sure your bags are packed with everything you will need such as the trusty water bottle and well your shoes.
Be sure to have your reg papers all properly filled out and taken care of. It never hurts to double check the waivers (ex.beyond the crux waiver) and see if there are anythings that concern you, but they usually are just the standard kind of liability waivers so you shouldn't have too many surprises.

Make sure you stretch and warm yourself up the last thing you want to do is sit in the sidelines because you have a cramp or something. Check yourself for dehydration during the comps as it can really impact your climbing ability, and make sure to take breaks when you feel a little out of it or tired.
